Summer Camp 2009

We all had a blast at Kia Kima even though I know that Ms Tracye was a little home sick for Camp Mack Morris! Patrick in shooting sports was GREAT and it was awesome to learn to shoot from a former Marine! Whooah!

Canoe Trip

WE LEAVE SATURDAY (TODAY) AT 8:00AM FROM HAWKINS CHURCH. WE WILL RETURN BACK LATE MONDAY EVENING.

BE SURE AND EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST THAT MORNING WE WILL BE STOPPING FOR LUNCH ON OUR WAY TO THE BUFFALO RIVER. IT IS AROUND 6 OR 7 HOUR DRIVE.

Thank you to all the Troop 638 members who supported me on Tuesday June 02. Thank you for standing in the hot sun and waving at cars. Thank you for being courteous to those who were not so courteous to you! I know the out come was not what we expected or hoped for but that is the nature of politics. I hope that you learned that anything worth having is worth working hard for. And even in defeat we must hold our heads up high and know we did the best we could. We did the right thing and even though life seems very unfair right now we will live through this and it will make us stronger people. Never stop standing up for what you believe in --- make a difference in your community on a daily basis. You can and will determine the future of this city because you are her future (you are the future Mayors, Adermen, and Supervisers). Thank you again for your support! It will never be forgotten!

PORTER"S CHAPEL UMM BBQ TODAY

You are to be there dressed in a class b shirt of some sort... You are to be there at 9 am. You are there to work not play or be rowdy... No going inside the church building unless told to do so by an adult. Minister's (Chance's house) is off limits as well. Come out and bring money there will be a bake sale (YUMMO) as well as eating chicken for lunch. You will need around $9 dollars for the chicken dinner.
