“Be sure to call your Mom. I wish I could call mine.” Bear Bryant

Your Mother is always with you.... She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street; she's the smell of bleach in your freshly laundered socks; she's the cool hand on your brow when you're not well. Your Mother lives inside your laughter. And she's crystallized in every tear drop. She's the place you came from, your first home; and she's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love and your first heartbreak, and nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space... not even death!

We may not be June Cleavers but do not doubt for one minute that we don't wish we were a little more like her (always dressed nice with a plate of cookies on the table and a glass of milk when you walked in the door after school.... house spotless, and nothing left to do but sit down and listen to how your day went... if we were her; we could solve any crisis even the big ones in 30 minutes and never break a nail or even get one hair out of place)......
We may not be perfect or have the answers to lifes problems and yes We do have faults....
We maybe a mom but we are human and well there is no such thing as perfect!
So give us a break, be understanding and one day maybe you will be okay with the fact that we are your mom and we dote on you, yell at you, cry over your grades, fell hurt when you are betrayed or picked on and worry about you even when you are not in our presence! We will always be your mom and you will always be that bundle the doctor handed us on the day you were born all 7 or 8 pounds; wrinkled pink and crying..... And we will always look into your face and feel the same joy, pride, anticipation, hope, and LOVE (oh the kind of love that hurts it is so strong).... that we felt on that day!
So when we have a bad day as mom and son never lose sight of what has been posted here!
You are my son and I am so proud to tell the world that and that will never change!
Love bears all things and it NEVER fails!
Especially a mother's love!
