PORT GIBSON — Marcol Ellis died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson. He was 24.Mr. Ellis was a member and deacon at Second Baptist Church in Port Gibson.He is survived by a daughter, Karli M. Ellis of Vicksburg; his mother, Ernestine Moore of Port Gibson; four brothers, Danny Moore of Dallas, Texas, and Ricky Ellis, Melvin Ellis and David Moore, all of Port Gibson; five sisters, Ulrica Jones and Charlene Moore, both of Port Gibson, and Carlene Moore Mason and Yolanda Moore, both of Indianapolis, and Debra Moore of Dallas; his maternal grandmother, Carrie Ellis of Jackson; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellis Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson and Sunday at the church from noon until the service.
