Lessons Learned At Camp!!!!!
You know you are at Camp Mack Morris When:
You last see your OFF can being carried off by a mob of angry ticks
You find more than one use for hand sanitizer
Your alarm clock has feathers
You learn that there is more than one way to cross a creek
You put peas in your slushy but won't eat them when they are on your plate
You find out why Tarzan yelled when he went swinging on those vines
You find there is more than one way to mix a slushy
You learn that rappelling is not only for the military
You find out the hard way that there is such a thing as too much OJ and too much Chocolate milk!
You learn what Bubbler means
and ultimately you learn the true meaning of life............................
OH .... IT'S THE RAISINS THAT MAKE THE RAISIN BRAN SO GREAT!
The Meaning Of A Life.....
Burhman Gates Sr.

In Sympathy
“She had ‘the elegance of a queen, with the humility and heart of an angel’ ... She is MIssissippi’s eternal first lady, and we will be forever blessed to have known her.” Ben Allen
Pat Fordice is survived by one daughter, three sons, and four "absolutely perfect in-laws," is the grandmother of two boys and 10 girls.
Her family was the light that made her blue eyes glow and a delighted smile appear whenever she explained how blessed they are to be Christian families full of love and good health. She wants her grandchildren to emulate her by becoming involved volunteers themselves and continuing to work toward a more positive Mississippi. Mrs. Fordice was a good choice to tweak the state’s consciousness. In 1999, the state House and Senate adopted a concurrent resolution calling Patricia Owens Fordice “a source of unequivocal pride to our state.” They praised her for promoting the arts (including bringing the St. Petersburg exhibit to the city), literacy, health, volunteerism and strong families—as well as for parachuting with the Army.
She might not have been our mama but we loved her as if she was!
Our hearts and prayers go our to the family of this fine Southern lady! Some of you may know her son Dan is very involved in scouting in the Vicksburg-Warren area.

In Sympathy And In Love....
HOMESICK BY MERCYME
You're in a better place, I've heard a thousand times
And at least a thousand times I've rejoiced for you
But the reason why I'm broken, the reason why I cry
Is how long must I wait to be with you
I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now
Help me Lord cause I don't understand your ways
The reason why I wonder if I'll ever know
But, even if you showed me, the hurt would be the same
Cause I'm still here so far away from home
I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehowI've never been more homesick than now
In Christ, there are no goodbye
And in Christ, there is no end
So I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I have
To see you again
To see you again
And I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now
Burhman our hearts, thoughts, prayers go out to you and your family at this most difficult of times! May you find comfort in memories, in love shared and from knowing that there are friends and family here willing to share the burden of your grief if you need us too! We are an email, phone call, or a knock on the door away! As the song says in Christ there are no goodbyes and in Christ there is no end .... we will see our loved ones again.... hold on to that promise! May the love of God shine upon you through the clouds of despair and give you peace!

When I go to the YMCA to walk on the treds; I pick up a thought for the day that is in a fish bowl on the counter... You can not pick and chose a thought because they are all folded up and placed in a fish bowl... you get what you draw out... I got this one yesterday! I thought it was an awesome one and wanted to share it with you all!
